P.A.W.S in Kuwait
Today I got online and visited the PAWS Website and a few questions popped into my head! I was hoping that people out there would be kind enough to answer these questions!
1) Has anyone been to the PAWS Shelter in Wafra?
2) What is it like? (I used to frequent the SPCA shelter in the USA and I was curious about what this one is like)
3) How many volunteers do they have?
4) Do any of the bloggers out there volunteer?
Thanks people!

There was an article about them in the Kuwait Times a few weeks ago, and ever since then I’ve wanted to go, but Wafra is kind of far to venture there alone.

*@@* nooni: Thanks!
q8sultana: Welcome to my blog and I have read the article about PAWS and also checked out thier website as well! I agree with you about Wafra being a venture but I think that if their facility offers a garden or a play area of some sort then it would be fun to go there and run around and play with the dogs and give some TLC to the cats and other pets!

All I know is that i called them once to get a puppy. An English lady answers the phone. She was in a hassle. apparently She was on a pet rescue mission. Very Serious stuff. She asked me to send her an email. and that was it. No news from them since.

Well, after reading your post, I checked out their website and wrote them an email asking when would be a good time to visit and what kind of food donation would they prefer. Here’s the reply:
We will organise a visit to the shelter for you soon. We are still in transition moving animals in and completing outside construction. We will get in touch and let you know when we are available to show you
around. Please bear with us, it’s a busy time with a lot of people on holiday.
Thank you for the dog/cat food. All food donations gratefully
received. (Could you ensure it is dry food)
We’ll be in touch soon
