Some People Are Just A-Holes
This post goes out to all the @$$ Holes that unfortunatly hold the Kuwaiti Citizenship! You do not deserve such an honor!
For those who don’t know what is going on, I will fill you in! When someone wants to plan something they tend to either do it themselves or hitre someone to do it! People work hard to go out of their way to ensure that an event is runing smoothly! What bothers me most are those who are hosting the event! They promise things and when it comes time to follow through on the promise they don’t honor their promises!
Tonight would be the best example. After working hard to get things prepared and bringing entertainment from abroad he host lets a few people into the event other than those that were on the actual list. Good of the host right? Exactly! When the hired professional entertainment arrives from abroad and then the host turns from being gracious to being a disgrace to the Kuwaiti Society! What happened? Well, the host bothers the hired entertainment and asks the entertainment for stupid requests by handing the entertaiment a list of songs that only geriatrics or drunks would enjoy! The host should feel ashamed for going up to the entertainer saying that the song choice is not good for the event while the entertainers choice was soo much better than that of the request list! Another thing that gets me pissed is that the treatment from the host towards the entertainer is snobbish, stubborn, and disrespectful!
The host also waits till the last minute to inform those other than the guests that they cannot attend the event. I am bitter cause I was one of those people who was promised that I could attend and then tonight I was told not to show up! How rude and disrespectful! I know children with better manners.
I am bothered that I will not be attending since I was looking forward to it but what bothers me even most that the entertainer might look at Kuwait and Kuwaitis in a bad way due to the fact that the entertainer had to deal with such people! There are a few people the entertainer has met who make Kuwait and Kuwaiti people look good and I thank those for their efforts but as for the host I just hope that next year their mind, thought, atitude, and responsibiility matches their age! They are old enough to know what is wrong or right but seems like their atitude hasn’t caught up with their age!
A special msg to the entertainer : I am sorry you had to deal with such people but please don’t judge the community by the acts of the few people you had to deal with who made your visit somewhat of a living hell!

Dude..sorry you had to go through that..yet, i presume thats something expected in a Kuwaiti who’s hosting a popular party, their ego tends to get the best of them :/

It’s understandable to be outraged when people act outrageously. The good news is that fate/karma/the hand of God catches up with people who act that way. We may not be there to see it, but we can trust that it happens. YOU, have a great year coming.

Happy new years!! anyways ^^^^^ thats happened to be recently.. its really bad of them to promise and then they dont even bother calling u and telling u they’re not coming.. and on top of that they make an excuse andsend another person to tell u they wont come! HOW RUDE!! they took another persons place…:( people can be so selfish… i dont blame u for being so angry! and im sorry about what happened….:) just be happy and always try enjoy ur time! even when u plan things to turn out differently!

Sweetd : You can tell that I was really pissed that in some places I don’t make much sense! The situation was that I was ready to show up and cancelled other events to go to this one but then the person holding this event tells me not to come! Shako!

You had a better invitation indeed but you were not interested!
Next time do it yourself, organize your own party!

Blue Ice Envy : This event was organized in less than 2 weeks! Seems like I did have a better invitation but I have to admit the other invitation would have cost more and cost is the reason why I didn’t organize a party of my own! Cash flow issues!

That sucks …
This is one of the problems that you can’t really account for. And event would be coordinated correctly and everything would be done perfectly and then at the last moment things start falling apart and you would have to go through things that you havn’t expected to go through before …
