The Stallion’s Stable of Thoughts and Experiences

I know I have been neglecting my blog and I’m sorry! Here’s a review of what I have been up to!

Other than the fact that work is getting stressful since I am part of a group who is planning a meeting between the heads of close to 25 diferrent developmental and financial institutions from around the world I still manage to keep myself sane by breaking the work routine and doing “fun stuff”! What fun stuff? Well, last weekend I started my Land Cruiser up and drove down to Bahrain with a convoy of 6 vehicles in order to attend Gulf Run! Driving down was fun especially cause we each had walkie talkies! On the way down the 5 vehicles decided to speed and the Land Cruiser being the only vehicle that wasn’t manufactured after 2002 couldn’t keep up! I didn’t care much cause I had my music and wasn’t worried about getting lost! I managed to catch up with the guys and crossed to Bahrain!

The weekend was amazing! The cars, noises, wind in my hair, adrenalin rush, and so on was something that was greatly needed to help me forget about work! That extra day we had off as part of the Islamic New Years vacation was a good thing too! Here are a few pics of the trip down but I will not post any pics of the cars that participated in Gulf Run until the official pictures are out on the official site!
