Current Trailer
OK! Yesterday I posted about something my brother and I were working on for the upcoming GulfRun! Yesterday My brother and I went to the iron man (7dad) who was working on the truck bed and turning it into a trailer and he actually did a good job putting the main portion together! What I didn’t like was how the minor things that weren’t done properly! What things you ask, well here is a list:
1) The hole which is used to pull the trailer around could have been cut properly. The hole has some jagged edges.
2) The trailer stand could be redone to make parking it a little easier.
Before actually hauling the trailer to where it is now we decided to check on the tires and we even had them changed even though the guy said they were ok! Towing this thing was easy but reversing was extremely difficult! The iron man (7dad) made the trailer with the idea that it should be hauled around with a pin like in the ones shown below :
I think it would be easier to use a ball hitch like a on a boat when it comes to reversing!
Here are a few pics of the trailer! Sorry for the pics being a little dark but I only had my K800 handy! My digicam was in my other car!
Keep in mind the trailer needs to go in for reinforcement work as well as a paint job. The pics are of the trailer as it currently stands about 25% complete!

Blue Dress : The guy did what he was told to do! Aham shay ina he made the trailer part and he did an amazing job at it! The trailer is at a metal fabricator to get the other work done! As for the content of the trailer, we are going to put in a whole lot of tools, barrels/containers of gas, spare tires, oil, brakes, and so on!
