Police Station Gathering!
Some of you might have known that there was a gathering last night at the Al-Rawtha Police Station in order to go against the accusations that have been made against those who have been rallying at the last Anti-Segregation Rally. The people who have attended last night showed their support against those narrow minded accusers and most of these supporters even went into the police station to sign a petition in order to bring up charges against the accusers. I was one of those people who signed the petition. Below you will find a slide show containing a few pics of what went on last night but if you would prefer to see the pics themselves then CLICK HERE!
One thing I noticed and got me angry was the following :

Where is the Kuwaiti flag? Would you like to see it? Here it is!

!!! THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO CAME OUT LAST NIGHT AND ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO SIGNED THE PETITION !!!

Dandoon : Welcome to my blog! When it comes to the flag, they should have checked on them especially because it’s February! As for the crowd, I wasn’t expecting many people cause the sms could have come earlier instead of being so short notice!

“The religious clergy, by getting themselves established by law and ingrafted into the machine of government, have been a very formidable engine against the civil and religious rights of man” Thomas Jefferson
“Because religious belief, or non-belief, is such an important part of every person’s life, freedom of religion affects every individual. Religious institutions that use government power in support of themselves and force their views on persons of other faiths, or of no faith, undermine all our civil rights. Moreover, state support of an established religion tends to make the clergy unresponsive to their own people, and leads to corruption within religion itself. Erecting the “wall of separation between church (or mosque) and state,” therefore, is absolutely essential in a free society.” Thomas Jefferson
