VHF/UHF Course!

A while back, before Ramadan actually, I signed up for a course at the Kuwait Amateur Radio Society to learn how to use and operate a VHF/UHF radio in order to get tested and obtain a government issued license to operate such a device. “Why?” you might ask! Well I have an ICOM IC-V8000 that I want to install in my car and in order to do that without being hassled by the cops I have to get that license. The course is about a week and a half and ends with an exam. The group I am in is the first group to be taking this specific course and I am hoping it will be the first of many more to come.
