8 Months left!

A few days ago I was happy that I was going to go to my dentist to remove my braces! I was hoping to bite into a sandwich at fu6oor like any normal person! Once my dentist removed my braces he informed me that I should not use my front teeth for another 8 months! I want to say that I was devastated but I wasn’t! I sure was a little upset but what is another 8 months if I haven’t been using my front teeth for a year and half!

So no more braces but I do have to types of retainers to deal with.

    I’ve done this 15 years ago (I’m not that old lol) anyway, apparently if you’re younger your teeth shapes up easier and stays that way and vice versa. I’m guessing you’re from my generation so I say stick to what your Doc says it’s a matter of time and u’ll be able to bite ur way through whatever u want! ;)

    mabrook! I hated my braces (when I had them) so I know how you feel… bes sara7a it sucks not being able to use your front teeth!!!! ma fahamt! shloon ya3ni takil?

    well , join the club ..
    i had my braces for 3 yrs and a half and still wearing my retainer for around 2 yrs :/

    Ansam : Allah ibarik feech! As for eating without using my front teeth, well that’s easy! I use a fork and knife to cut up what I am eating and use he back teeth to chew my food! Yes, even a burger, sandwich, pizza, etc… is eaten with a fork and knife!

    Zabo0o6a : Retainers for 2 years! Wow that’s a long time!

    :-( I dont enjoy eating like this! burgers, pizza, and whatchamacallit are finger food to me! I wouldnt enjoy eating’em using fork and knife.. I hope you can! Best of luck :-P
